Fire Elemental Concept Side

Fire Elemental Concept

The Elementals are huge golem-like creatures that are native Jhrakhon's moon, the volcanic and unstable Nharogk. However, due to their home's destructive and chaotic nature, elementals occasionally wound up launched into space and fall to planet Jrakhon via strong volcanic eruptions. They are capable of adapting to other planets and are the natural enemies of dragons.

These alpha class creatures have the ability to control a particular element, such as fire, ice or lightning. Unlike other creatures, elementals are highly dependent on their element and must gather that element from their surroundings. When they leave their ideal habitat, elementals begin to lose their element and will decay over time until they die. This heavily limits the area that an elemental can travel and hunt within.

Despite not needing to eat organic lifeforms to survive, elementals on Jrakhon will actively hunt dragons of the same element as itself. The cause of this behavior is yet to be found or explained; however, it has been theorized that the organic matter provides more energy than the non-organic elements that surrounds them. Therefore, elementals may have adapted to hunt dragons to further fuel their strength.

The Magma Fire Elemental is currently the only elemental designed for the game. There has been no further information about the two other elementals (ice and lightning as verified by the developers) at the current stage of development.

Gameplay

The elementals can be unlocked by the player while they play as a dragon, though the exact method is still unknown. Unlocking an elemental grants a single use of it, meaning that after death they must be unlocked again, similar to the Hybrid Dragon.

Once unlocked, players can spawn into the world of Jrakhon as an elemental. The element that your elemental is aligned with will influence your spawn location. Upon spawning, you will be a smaller version of the elemental, and over time you must survive to grow to your your maximum size.

You are heavily limited by your environment because in order to prevent your body from decaying over time, you must replenish your core with the element you are aligned with. For example, fire elementals are made out of lava, so they must go to lava fields or volcanos in order to sustain themselves.

Elementals will consume dragons in order to upgrade their own stats. Dragons of higher stats will provide better upgrades. Elementals will be able to attack and kill dragons on any server, even if they are marked as PvE (player vs. enemy).

Elementals are a playable species.
